100% water

News from insider Michael Doyle of the Fresno Bee's Washington Bureau, reveals farmers north of the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta will still get 100% of their standard water allocation, while municipal and industrial water users south of the Delta will still get 75%.

It appears users with junior water rights, like Jim Costa's Westland Water District, will be getting at least 45% and maybe more as the season progresses.

Seems about normal to me?

Is this entire thing about a 3 inch bait fish or junior water rights?

Mendota-- 40% unemployment

Now that there are thousands and thousands of acre feet of availabe water in California, does that mean the 40% unemployment in the city of Mendota will be reduced? Some say the high unemployment rate in that area is due to seasonal jobs. Let us take a hard look at the numbers after the crops are in to see what they show.
