Pacific Salmon have been named one of America's Top Ten Endangered species vulnerable to climate change. To read more, click HERE:

The real reason for the fish decline
I hope everyone takes the time to go to this website and educate themselves on a more relevant reason for the population decline: overfishing.

Overfished salmon?
To suggest that overfishing is the reason for the declines in Pacific salmon in California is irresponsible and demonstrates an incredible ignorance of the facts. First, there is no open season (commercial or sport)for coho salmon yet their numbers have fallen drastically in the past decade. As recently as 2005 both the Monterey Bay Aquarium's Seafood Watch and NOAA Fishwatch listed California King Salmon as a "best choice" for consumers.
There is no commercial season for steelhead, and all wild sport caught steelhead must be released (except in one river, the Smith, which ironically has the healthiest wild population in the state). Still, Steelhead numbers have also declined precipitously in recent decades, and are nearing extinction in the southern half of the state.
And how can 'overfishing' explain the collapse of the Delta Smelt, Longfin Smelt, or threadfin shad for which there are no fisheries?
When the entire ecosystem collapses, something beyond overfishing must be at fault. Right now, the best science points to increases in water diversion and destruction of habitat.

Here is a really good article that wil hopefully shed some light on the myth of global warming (which still has not been scientifically proven.)

Global Warming
I can't say that I personally believe that there is actually Global Warming. We are destroying the Earth that God gave us though. Whether you believe in God or Natural Selection is irrelevant. Mankind is selfish and a few good people are out there trying to do something about it. Global Warming may not be a problem we should worry about, but cleaning up our air and getting our neighboring countries to stop cutting down rain forests are problems we need to work on. Our central valley, the bread basket, fruit bowl whatever of the world is one of the worst places to live for air quality. We need to plant more ever green trees and less almonds. We need to make our planet greener with clean air and conservation. That is what I believe.
