I sure hope these west side farmers can get the water they so desperately need. They do, in fact, feed pretty much this entire nation. I just wish all these environ"mental"ists would stop lobbying to reduce the farmers water supply. Never trust a liberal. Everything they do has an agenda that will directly impact peoples lives negatively.

They 'perverted' the legislative process many years ago to 'qualify' for taxpayer subsidized water...There will never be 'enough' water to go around to all those that 'claim' it (unless you live in 'virtual reality')

So "Californian" thinks Westlands pretty much feed the nation? According to the CIA World Factbook, the US agricultural output is valued at about 119 BILLION dollars (2005 figures). Since Westlands farms produce about one billion in output, that would translate to less than one percent of United States production.
Explain to me why California taxpayers should subsidize one penny of food exported out of the state!
