Radio Show Reminder

Reminding all that tomorrow (Feb. 8) is my monthly radio show "Down in the Valley" which focuses on San Joaquin Valley and California water and ag issues. It will air at 3 p.m. on 88.1 FM in the Fresno area. KFCF is temporarily off the air on the Internet but we hope to be broadcasting via the Internet again soon. On tomorrow's show I'm going to be talking about the behind-the-scenes lobbying of Senator Dianne Feinstein by agribusiness and Southern California developers who want Feinstein to publicly support a $12 billion bond measure to build a Peripheral Canal and more big dams in California - a bond measure which has already set off fierce reaction from Northern California and environmentalists. I will also talk about the collapse of the salmon fishery in California and the continuing downward spiral of the Delta estuary. Tune in if you can.
